The heart of the righteous.
Proverbs 15:28-29, The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Jesus teaches that we speak out of what fills our heart. As we sow, so shall we also reap. Are we planting good seed each day in our hearts? Are we drinking deeply from His streams of living water? Are we walking in His light? “The good man out of his good treasure brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth what is evil.”
Help me to guard my heart that I may be able to bring out Your good treasure.
