They rejoiced because of its encouragement.

Acts 15:30-33, So, when they were sent away, they went down to Antioch; and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter. And when they had read it, they rejoiced because of its encouragement. And Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brethren with a lengthy message. And after they had spent time there, they were sent away from the brethren in peace to those who had sent them out.

Who doesn’t like to receive encouragement? Do we look for ways to encourage others, especially our spiritual leaders? There are definitely antagonists out there who are loud and make themselves known playing “devils advocates;” as one of my teachers said, the devil doesn’t need any advocates! Can this become a habit, calling others to life by looking for ways to encourage them especially when I don’t agree with their behavior?

Lord I want to trust You more that You will bring the conviction of Your Holy Spirit to me and to all who love You. Help me to encourage others and leave the conviction to You.
