Return and visit.
Acts 15:36, And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brethren in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”
Jesus calls us to make disciples, not just converts. He wants us to have a long-term relationship that those who He brings to us both come to know Him and also grow in Him. We can’t do this in a vacuum, it takes community. And we see that even between believers there can arise such a “sharp disagreement,” as it did with Paul and Barnabus, that they would go their separate ways for a while. Am I seeking to follow Him?
I want to keep my eyes on You, Lord; give me opportunities today!
