The mystery of godliness.
1 Timothy 3:16, And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated in the Spirit, beheld by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Indeed faith and godliness is a great mystery, for it was God who loved the world enough to send His Son into it knowing that He would become the perfect sacrifice to save the unredeemable. It was God who called the deaf, opened the eyes of the blind and gave new life to the spiritually dead. We know His love by this: that He laid down His life for us. Am I willing to lay down my life for others?
Open our eyes to Your way, that we may lay up treasure in Heaven.
