The perfect bond of unity.

Colossians 3:12-14, And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

What is this other than then fruit of the Spirit, lived out in our community of family, work and worship? How easy it is to think of ourselves first; only when we seek these gifts of the Holy Spirit can we really live this out. How might this change affect me and the people around me?

Bring forth the fruit of Your Spirit, and cover it all with love in everything that I do, Lord.
