The promise.
Galatians 3:22, But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Paul brings home his point, that there is one hope for the problem of sin, and that hope is Jesus Christ. The law is there only to bring us to the recognition, when we are honest with ourselves, that we have not and cannot keep its requirements and stand in truth before a perfect, righteous and Holy God. He has not abandoned us but has sent us our one true hope, Jesus Christ!
We thank You for the hope that is within us; let us be ready to give a reason for that hope that is within us..
