Speak in praise of God.

Luke 1:53-54, And he asked for a tablet, and wrote as follows, “His name is John.” And they were all astonished. And at once his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he began to speak in praise of God.

This fulfils the prophecy of Gabriel when he announced John’s miraculous concept and birth. The prophecy is fulfilled in detail, as are many others in this time leading to the birth of John and the birth of Christ. Only because of his unbelief did Zacharias have to be mute until these things were fulfilled. We who believe can join in these praises!
