Martha welcomed Him.

Luke 10:38-39, Now as they were traveling along, He entered a certain village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. And she had a sister called Mary, who moreover was listening to the Lord’s word, seated at His feet.

Martha gets a lot of heat for being busy; yet she was the one who invited the Lord into her home in the first place! And she listened to the Lord, for when Jesus came after Lazarus’ death, she was the one who went to meet Him as Mary stayed at the house. We who have been willing to invite Him in, are we also willing to listen to Him, to seek Him and to obey and follow Him?

I need strength to obey and follow You, O Lord!
