Help to the descendents of Abraham.

Hebrews 2:16-17, For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham. Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

We don’t have much trouble seeing Jesus as God, the “I AM,” walking on earth; we do have trouble seeing Him as having laid aside His power and glory and being fully human. We think He overcame temptation by using His power, yet He was made like us “in all things” and tempted in every way we are. He walked as we walk; He was in constant fellowship with the Father, and the Holy Spirit without measure, and He offers that abundant life to us!

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may se exactly what Jesus saw the Father doing and be able to do “even greater things” in Your name!
