Bought with a price.

1 Corinthians 7:23-24, You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men. Brethren, let each man remain with God in that condition in which he was called.

Paul reminds us that we have all been bought with a price, the costly blood of the Lord Jesus. He makes it clear that it's not about our external condition, but our eternal position in Christ. Paul had used his own freedom in Christ to become His slave. We have been set free from the power of sin and death in Him; are we willing to be slaves of Christ?

We thank You that You have called us right where we are; take control of our lives and use us for Your glory!
