He is near, right at the door.

Mark 13:28-29, "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. Even so, you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door."

Jesus tells us that the signs of the end of this age will be as plain as the familiar signs of budding fig trees, about to bring forth the new fruit of summer. Certainly we see signs from scripture right now, and that should give us great hope. It also should make us more aware that He wants to use us to carry out His marvelous plans, before He opens the door!

We thank You that You have all things in Your hands; use us to bring Your plans to completion. Come, Lord Jesus!
